HPA UK Parliamentary Reception 2026

HPA UK to host exclusive Parliamentary reception sponsored by Bill Esterson MP, Chair of the Energy Security and Net Zero Committee with keynote from Minister for Energy Consumers

Monday 27th April 2025

House of Commons

We are pleased to share that Martin McCluskey, Minister for Energy Consumers, will be joining us as a keynote speaker at the HPA UK Parliamentary Reception – ‘From Carbon to Competitiveness: The Economic and Societal Benefits of Heat Pumps in the UK’.

The theme builds on HPA UK’s latest report, finding that heat pump manufacturing, installation and use were worth £1 billion to the UK economy in 2025, with the potential to grow to £15 billion by 2035.

We’ll also hear from Sponsoring MP Bill Esterson, Chair of the Energy Security and Net Zero Committee, as well as HPA UK Co-Chairs Mark Wilkins and Laura Bishop.
