Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector Working Group
Our Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector Working Group is dedicated to addressing challenges and opportunities related to heat pumps in the Commercial, Industrial and Public Sectors. Attendees explore market trends, policy frameworks, financing options, best practices, and awareness-raising opportunities for commercial and industrial heat pump projects.
Residential Training Working Group
The Residential Training Working Group is HPA UK’s forum for discussing training best-practice, monitoring developments in installation and installer standards, and supporting the development of a highly-skilled workforce through direct interaction with Government, and through inputting directly into the Building Safety Regulators Plumbing, Heating and Mechanical Renewables Mandatory Technical Competency Management Group.
Residential Technical Working Group
HPA UK’s Residential Technical Working Group discusses and advises on technical matters relating to heat pump systems in domestic settings. The group monitors standards, explores strategic technical matters affecting sector growth, and supports the Association’s responses to Government and industry consultations requiring detailed technical consideration.
Shared-Ground Loop, Low-Carbon Heat Networks and Drilling Working Group
This Working Group brings together specialists in shared ground and ambient loop systems, low carbon heat networks and drilling. Members collaborate on technical standards, regulatory and policy frameworks, safety, and best practice to support the growth of low‑carbon heat networks and ground infrastructure.
Communications Forum
A space for members to share insights on public engagement, consumer messaging, and industry communications relating to heat pumps. The Forum helps shape HPA UK’s external narrative and supports members in aligning messaging across the sector.
Policy Forum
A biannual opportunity for members to hear directly from the HPA UK policy team, discuss emerging policy developments, and contribute to the Association’s strategic policy priorities.
Installer Forum
Our forum to discuss matters for those who are active in the installation of heat pumps and to get updates from the HPA UK Installer Representative (*Note this is open to all member levels, subject to being actively involved in the installation of heat pumps).
